Receiving high praise for its design, location, and sustainable building features, Mosler Lofts delivers
a dynamic, green urban lifestyle in a community of 150 New York style loft homes. Located in the heart of Seattle’s
Belltown neighborhood, the 12-story mixed-use building includes 5,600 square feet of retail space and three stories of underground parking.
The project is the first LEED and Built-Green certified condominium tower in Seattle. Olympic Associates Company (OAC) was retained to provide building envelope design and construction support services. Involved early in the design process, OAC assisted the developer and architect in selection of exterior wall, roofing and below grade waterproofing systems and products. The project utilized a concrete structural system with exterior concrete panel, brick veneer and window wall glazing systems. The project presented a number of challenges to the design team due to the complexities of the “Green” roof terrace and multiple exterior finish interfaces while maintaining the building’s unique architectural design features. |
