Olympic facilitated the design charrette process for the $4.9 million JP-8 Fuel Storage Facility
project at Camp Casey, Republic of Korea. The Charrette process incorporated Function Analysis
Concept Design (FACD) and Value Engineering (VE) methodology in the development of the the design
concept to improve the quality and timeliness of the end product. The project will provide new above ground storage tanks (ASTs) to replace the existing tanks of like capacity and will replace the existing position railhead off-load facility with a new position rail off-load facility, including impervious off-load containment. The system will be configured to accommodate new rail cars that will replace the existing rail assets currently utilized for bulk distribution by rail. |
