Founded in 1910, Camp Fire USA is a not-for-profit agency serving over 750,000 community members nationwide. The organization is dedicated to helping children develop positive connections with the environment as well as molding caring and confident future leaders. Camp Fire's premier Northwest facility, Camp Sealth, creates memorable experiences for over 5,000 campers and visitors each year.

Located on 400 pristine acres on Vashon Island, Camp Sealth offers summer residency camp programs, day camp programs, and corporate meeting facilities. Supporting Camp Fire's reputation for positive, coeducational programs, the camp promotes independence, teamwork, and self-confidence through outdoor activities, arts, crafts, and environmental awareness. The highly diverse terrain including over a mile and a half of waterfront, forested hillsides, and sensitive wetlands, is an ideal setting for everyone to enjoy and explore.

In 2004, the Central Puget Sound Council undertook an ambitious fundraising campaign to support significant renovations to the camp. The successful $5 million capital campaign was not only the largest for this council, but also the largest ever undertaken by the entire Camp Fire USA program. The funding led to the development of considerable upgrades, including a remodeled dining hall, three new shower houses, and two new program buildings for year-round use.

OAC provided project and construction management for the renovation and winterization of Rounds Hall, the camp's 80-year-old lodge and dining hall, restoration of existing program buildings and sleeping quarters, new shower facilities, and construction of a new environmental education center. Additional services included:
  • Project Scheduling
  • Budget Development And Administration
  • Grant Application Support
