Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, JFK International Airport, International Arrivals Building OAC was selected through a national selection process to perform value planning (VP) services to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Organized and led by OAC, this team of 37 experts from around the world analyzed the project's economic basis and evaluated enplanement forecasts, costs, risks, program feasibility, and conceptual design. OAC documented, presented, and reported recommendations which were accepted by the Aviation Department for implementation. The VP workshop resulted in a 43% reduction in construction costs, shorter construction duration, and less risk. |
