A look at OAC over the years: 1950s

In 1955, OAC was founded by Richard M. Tracey and Gerald R. Brunstrom under the name Tracey & Brunstrom. In 1959, Robert Dudley joined "Dick" Tracey and Gerry Brunstrom to create Tracey, Brunstrom, & Dudley. During this time, the company was located in Seattle at lower Queen Anne on 3rd Avenue North. The company's work during the 1950s was primarily in the private sector and was focused in the forest products and aerospace industries.

OAC's expertise in the forest products industry led to work throughout the  Western U.S., Western Canada, Greece, and Romania-and to the opening of a branch office in London, England.

Services provided: Mechanical, Civil, and Structural Engineering; CPM Scheduling

Clients included: Boeing; PACCAR; ITT Rayonier; National Bank of Commerce; Scott Paper; Leckenby Company; North Kitsap School District; Stack Steel

Interesting note: In 1958, OAC won a large contract to provide critical path method (CPM) scheduling for the Polaris Missile Facility in Bangor, WA. This marked the beginning of OAC's project management services.
