A look at OAC over the years: 2000s

OAC continued the growth of the 1990s through the beginning of the 2000s. In 2002, after 38 years with OAC and nearly 25 years as OAC President, Peter Jobs begins a leadership and ownership transfer process that make Chris Edwards, Randy Hart, Larry Cross, and Dan Chandler sole principal owners of OAC. Chris Edwards was elected Managing Principal in 2002 and worked with principals Randy Hart, Larry Cross, and Dan Chandler to organize OAC into four main business centers with seven lines of service. In 2004, Dan Chandler was elected managing principal and works with the other principals to continue to grow and refine OAC’s services.

The outlook throughout the 2000s is optimistic. OAC is positioned to promote building better through greater technical ability, leadership, and innovation. We attract and maintain staff who are the best in their field, enabling us to provide esteemed service to our clients. Continuous improvement of project control systems and quality control procedures are a priority for the company. Planned events include a 50-year anniversary celebration and a large-scale office renovation and expansion. We will continue to focus on our clients' needs and the successful delivery of their projects.
